Kenwood Ladies Pond
Kenwood Ladies Pond is situated on Hampstead Heath and reserved solely for ladies swimming.
Catfoss were appointed as the modular manufacture to deliver a new facility for ‘The Ladies of The Pond’ comprising of changing facilities, toilets and a lifeguard unit.
These facilities were designed in partnership with the Kenwood Ladies Pond Association and are fully DDA compliant.
This off-site construction method was chosen to minimise the construction period and on site disruption. As a result the pond only needed to be closed for a number of weeks. This much more sustainable form of construction resulted on less impact on the Heath, with fewer vehicle movements to and from the pond.
