Deloitte Survey Reports On Construction Activity Resilience
The latest reports in the Deloitte Real Estate Crane Survey UK, reports record levels of construction activity, as developer’s confidence for city development remains strong. The survey covers Belfast, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester, in which each city has sustained or increased a level of development across a range of sectors including offices, residential, hotels, retail, education and student housing. Simon Bedford, Partner and Regional Head at Deloitte Real Estate, said that, “The surveyed cities have shown a market increase in housing development, in some cases doubling activity from the previous year, ensuring targets are being taken seriously, and developers are striving to meet demand.”
